Who we are
MilkOrder (milkorder.madhyam.tech, Powered by माध्यम) is an order, delivery, billing and payment service for milk and dairy distributors. Your distributor is the "data fiduciary" for your data; MilkOrder processes the data on their behalf.
What information we collect
Name, mobile number (entered by the distributor), the email you provide, shop name and address, GSTIN (if any), records of orders, bills and payments, and for security the phone type and IP address. Fingerprint or face data never reaches us — it stays on your phone.
What for
Taking orders, making bills, recording payments and sending notifications (required); suggesting the next order from past orders (Tejasvi, only with your permission); news about new offers (optional). We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Where and for how long
All data is stored in India (Hostinger's data centre in India). When an account is closed or on a deletion request, your identifying information is removed; bills are kept for about 8 years because of GST law. Security logs are kept for 1 year.
Security
HTTPS encryption, each distributor's data kept separate at the database level, no new phone without approval, fingerprint/face lock on the app, and a tamper-proof record of every sensitive action.
Your rights
In the app's profile you can download your data, request correction or deletion, withdraw consent, make a complaint and nominate a person. We try to reply within 7 days (legal limit 90 days).
Cookies
MilkOrder sets only the cookies needed to run the service. There are no advertising, tracking or third-party cookies (such as Google Analytics or Facebook), so no separate consent is asked for them.

The app also keeps a few small settings on the phone (for example, whether the "Add to Home Screen" message was shown). These are not sent to the server.
You can delete cookies in your browser settings; you will then need to log in and get approval again in the app.
